Junkie rock star Pete Doherty has been released on bail following his arrest on suspicion possessing crack cocaine, police have announced.
The 27-year-old Babyshambles singer was arrested after police spotted him driving his Jaguar erratically in east London.
Two passengers in the car were also arrested.
Doherty and the other two people were released from a London police station while the "substances recovered" from the vehicle are analysed.
They will return to the station next month.
Doherty has been back and forth from rehab to receive treatment for his ongoing drug and alcohol addictions.
