R&B songstress Mya won’t be getting high any time soon, after having a bad reaction to a marijuana-laced cookie which resulted in her being taken to hospital.
The ‘Lady Marmalade’ singer says she felt like she was going to die after suffering a panic attack brought on by a hash-cookie which her friends persuaded her to eat at a party.
Mya explains: "I was rushed to the hospital and my heart, I don't know how fast it was going, but I thought I was going to explode and die.”
"They put me on these pills every couple of hours to slow my heart rate down and put me to sleep. I was sweating and freezing at the same time," she adds.
"I just said, 'God, I am so sorry... I will not do that again. I do not want to go out like this.’"
