$45 million. That’s the whopping sum Britney Spears lost in earnings during her marriage to Kevin Federline, court papers have revealed.
The pre-nup the pop tart signed with wannabe rap star K-Fed before they tied the knot in 2004 stated she expected to earn $143 million by 2009.
But Britney has only earned a tiny part of that sum since ditching her pop career to start a family with Kevin. She had two kids with the ex-dancer, 14-month-old Sean Preston and eight-week-old Jayden James.
Spears has not put out any new material or toured since 2003. Her lawyers estimate she has lost between $20 million and $45 million over the last two years.
But the lost of earnings hasn’t hit Britney too hard, she has a $125 million fortune including property worth $15 million and $6 million worth of forest land in her native Louisiana.
Britney filed for divorce from Kevin last week.
