Mariah Carey is suing a concert promoter for $1m (£522,000), following the cancellation of a concert in Hong Kong last month.
The diva claims she was left out of pocket after paying expenses relating to the live date and says she is yet to be paid fees by the promoter.
Mariah’s lawyers claim she was forced to pull out of the concert after One Group Investments "breached its contractual obligations”.
However, One Group insists it is owed money by the singer and it "would prevail" in court. It asserts it was Mariah’s management which mishandled the event, not them.
