Liv Tyler took last year off after she gave birth to her son, Milo, and has now admitted she nearly turned her back on Hollywood altogether. But she's renewed her love of acting. The "Lord of the Rings" star told the Buffalo News newspaper: "It was really a reflective period for me, and I was asking myself all these questions, like, 'Should I retire and move to the country and have lots of babies? That year off helped me realize I love what I do."
The 29-year-old actress, who is the daughter of Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, is currently filming new thriller 'The Strangers' in South Carolina, which is in the middle of tobacco country, and the actress says she enjoys the relaxed attitude toward smoking: "What's really great about this place is you can smoke almost anywhere."
"As for "The Strangers," a thriller about a couple trying to survive when three masked strangers invade their home, she couldn't put it down. "I liked the title of this one because it sounded like a comedy.
After reading the first three pages, I was stuck on it and called my agent and said, 'Please get it for me. I want to be in this movie.'"
