Lindsay Lohan has hit out at her party girl reputation while appearing on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’.
The actress said: "I'm 20 years old. Is it a crime to go ... dancing with your friends?"
The director of Lohan’s upcoming movie ‘Bobby’ praised Lindsay on the show telling Winfrey about how professional the actress was on set.
Emilio Estevez told Oprah that Lindsay showed up on time and turned in "the best work of her life" in the new movie which is about the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy.
Estevez said the media focuses on the actress‘ supposed wild behaviour "because it sells," but "I'd rather have them focus on how extraordinary she is in this film".
Lohan also spoke about her acting career saying she’s "lucky and blessed" to be able to act.
"I've been acting my whole life and this is what I love to do," said the ‘Mean Girls’ star.
