Justin Timberlake and Gnarls Barkley were the main winners at this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards.
Justin, who hosted the awards, won best male and best pop act, while Gnarls Barkley scooped best new act and best song, for their mega-hit ‘Crazy’.
Other winners were Christina Aguilera, who was named best female act, Rihanna, who won best R&B artist and Kanye West, who took the hip hop award.
"This is amazing for me to be recognised this far away from America," said Kanye at the Copenhagen ceremony. After losing out on the best video award, he later said: "Best video should have been mine. I should have won."
All the awards were chosen by MTV viewers, except best video.
Justin Timberlake opened the ceremony, plus Nelly Furtado, Snoop Dogg and Muse were also among the acts to perform.
