John Mayer has confessed he’s "having a really fun time" with Jessica Simpson, but refuses to admit he’s dating the blonde bombshell.
"The deal is I'm trying to have fun in my life and be a respectful guy ... and I'm having a really fun time in my life, maybe for the first time in a while. She's a very sweet girl," he gushes.
The singers became friends earlier this year after meeting in a New York nightclub.
Reports emerged that the pair were dating, which prompted Jessica to sack her publicist.
The showbiz pair were recently been spotted getting close again.
