Ditzy blonde Jessica Simpson's recent date didn’t go quite to plan, when she realised she’d accidentally hired a male escort.
The singer and actress has been looking for guys on the internet since splitting from singer John Mayer, but soon realised the problems of going on blind dates with men from the web after unknowingly arranging to meet a "professional hooker".
"Jessica logged onto the Internet to find male company. She found a picture of a guy in Los Angeles she thought was ideal. They arranged to meet, but when she turned up, she found out the sad truth - he was only interested in a 'professional transaction.' The guy turned out to be a male escort,” a friend of Jess’ told Australia's ‘New Weekly’ magazine.
The self-confessed “sexually frustrated” ‘Newlyweds’ star soon realised her mistake and ended the date.
"Jessica was horrified and told him to go to hell. She wasn't that desperate," Jess’ pal added.
"She never imagined male hookers would be trying to cash in on the service. It's turned her off the web - and that was her main hobby."
