Hip hop superstar Jay-Z has laughed off “crazy” claims that he worships the devil.
G. Craige Lewis, of EX Ministries, has made his bizarre accusations through footage uploaded to You Tube in which he accuses Jigga of worshipping the devil and plays one of the hip hop star’s songs backwards in which he appears to rap: “6,6,6, murda, murda Jesus”.
“He should be arrested, seriously,” Jay-Z laughed when asked about the claims on New York radio station Power 105.1. “My position is not unlike anyone else who ascends to the top of their field. That comes with the game. But that’s crazy. That might be the craziest one I’ve had.”
“But do you go to church?” the station’s DJ Egypt asked.
“Nah, I’m more spiritual than [having] organized religion. I have a personal relationship with God. …I believe in karma, I believe in cause and effect…but religion, I have my opinions about religion,” Jay-Z said.
