"Eighty-five percent of my income goes to my charity," Heather Mills told TV's Extra. "The word 'gold digger' doesn't go with that. If I was a gold-digger, I would have a lot of money in my bank account. I'd be worth millions and millions."
Heather is still after Paul McCartney's millions - that hasn't changed - but now she seems to be implying that she'll give most of it away once she gets her hands on it.
"I'm a good mother. I'm a good person," she said. "I fell in love for the right reason. I fell in love unconditionally."
Other than saying she's not a gold-digger and what a great humanitarian she is, the tell-all interview to be shown on "Extra" will likely reveal other aspects of Heather's brief 4-year marriage to Sir Paul. It is believed that she may talk about the alleged physical abuse she suffered at the hands of the 64-year-old former Beatle.
Sir Paul vehemently denies the abuse claims but has so far refused to hit back at his estranged spouse: "There are certain things in life that are personal, and I think a relationship with a partner is intensely personal, and I prefer to keep it that way.”

I don't care if she's a gold digger or not. It's still wrong for her to go after Paul McCartney's money. They've been married only a short time. Did she contribute significantly to the amassing the amount of money she's asking for? I thought the point of an alimony or to splitting properties is so that the spouse will be financially supported in the manner she was accustomed to during the marriage. And historically, this came up because of so many women who gave up their careers for their families and so were unable to develop their skills and careers leaving them very vulnerable after a divorce. Heather Mills is not in a similar position. Did she have to sacrifice her career when she got married? Was she a stay-at-home mom? I'm a female but I don't consider it fair that she should be going after money that Paul McCartney accumulated with his skills alone.
