Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams look set to marry after being spotted picking up a marriage licence in New York recently.
They want to keep the ceremony as private as possible, sources say.
The couple, who met while filming ‘Brokeback Mountain’ - in which they starred as husband and wife, already have a 13-month-old daughter - Matilda Rose - together.
The stars’ rep’s have refused to comment on the wedding reports.
Heath and Michelle recently bought a house together in Brooklyn.
