Robert De Niro and 50 Cent could be sharing the big screen in a police thriller, and are reportedly currently in the final negotiations.
In 'New Orleans' De Niro will star as a cop who thinks his partner was killed in Hurricane Katrina, but later discovers he was murdered.
His new partner, played by 50 Cent, joins him to investigate the shooting which leads them to uncover police corruption.
The movie, which is due to start filming in February, was originally set in L.A but was switched to New Orleans following Katrina.
50 Cent's last movie project was his autobiographical 'Get Rich or Die Tryin'.
