Ashlee Simpson has come to the end of starring as Roxie Hart in ‘Chicago’ in London’s West End and says she’s set to head back to the studio to work on her own music again.
"I'm going to go back and figure out what I'm going to do and start writing," Ash says. "I love musical theatre, but it's different than the music I want to do on the album."
She’s also revealed that she’d love to work with The Cure’s Robert Smith on her comeback material.
“Robert Smith from The Cure came to my last show in London, and I don't know if I was more excited about him or that it was the last show!” the ‘Autobiography’ singer says.
"To work with Robert Smith would be an honour."
