Scarlett Johansson has confirmed reports she's recording her first album. The Lost In Translation star, who showed off her vocals in the film alongside Bill Murray in a karaoke scene, has signed a deal to make her first record, "Scarlett Sings Tom Waits", and is working on it in between movie commitments.
The 21-year-old is a huge fan of the singer/songwriter, and is so keen to do his music justice she's taking all the time she can in the studio.
She says, "It's coming along. There is no rush to get it out there."
"We're taking our time - doing a week here and week there. I just love his music."
