Its official, Whitney Houston has filed for DIVORCE after 14 years of putting up with Bobby Brown. The troubled pop singer filed divorce papers in Orange County Superior Court this week, a month after filing for legal separation from Brown, her publicist Nancy Seltzer said Tuesday.
The filing follows her request for a legal separation a month ago. In those papers she also asked for custody of the couple's 13-year old daughter Bobbi Christina.
Brown, who also has two teenage children with a Massachusetts woman, recently paid up to $11,000 in delinquent child support after being threatened with arrest two weeks ago if he stepped back into the state. His lawyer says he is having a very difficult time with the separation.
