Pussycat Dolls' lead singer Nicole Scherzinger is working on her first solo album.
The singer has signed up innovative producer Timbaland, Black Eyed Peas star Will.I.Am and 'Lonely' star Akon to appear on the anticipated record.
“I'm excited because it's really fresh, something new,” Nicole says. “I like to sing a lot of styles and kinds of music, so it's kind of an infusion of all kinds of things.
But don’t threat Pussycat Dolls fans, as Nicole says her solo work doesn’t mean the group is splitting up.
"Hopefully I'll make them even bigger," she says. "We're going to do a second album and I've kind of written some stuff keeping them in mind as well."
Nicole recently appeared on Diddy’s comeback single, Come To Me.
