Pop star Pink is helping to launch National Coming Out Day this week, which hopes to encourage young gay people to speak openly about their sexuality.
The fiesty singer will be the face of the annual event, which takes place on October 11th. In the promotional campaign she’s shown holding a sign saying "Talk about it".
"Pink is one of millions of straight Americans who supports fairness and honesty for everyone - GLBT [gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender] or straight,” Joe Solmonese, President of the Human Rights Campaign, says.
"This project will show the faces of countless Americans who support openness over painful silence and isolation. Young people who are afraid to come out will see these pictures and faces and know that they are not alone."
