Rap duo Mobb Deep escaped death after the plane they were flying in set on fire and lost an engine on Saturday morning.
The pilot was forced to make an emergency in Florida after fire started to shoot out of the plan’s engines, before it blew up.
40 Glocc and Sam Scarfo were also on the flight from Atlanta and Chile.
"Almost an hour into the flight, the plane began dropping and rising and dropping again, soon after which passengers noticed flames and smoke pouring out of one of the engines," a press release states.
Fire trucks and ambulances were waiting for the plane when it made a safe landing on an airstrip in Tampa. If the plane had continued for another 45 minutes on its planned route, it would have been forced to land in the Atlantic Ocean.
"All I can say is God was on our side. It could [have] turned out the opposite way! It makes you look at many things in perspective," Havoc from Mobb Deep said.
Mobb Deep, 40 Glocc and Sam Scarfo’s upcoming live shows may not take place after the stars all returned to New York, rather than continuing onto Chile, after their horror flight.
