Kim Basinger has been arraigned on contempt charges stemming from allegations made by former hubby and arch-enemy Alec Baldwin, who is saying that Kim is guilty of a long list of violations in their ongoing custody dispute over daughter Ireland.
TMZ is breaking the news that, among Alec's allegations, Kim blocked his visitation rights, blocked his rights to speak with his daughter on the telephone and failed to notify him when the child suffered an injury.
Basinger pleaded not guilty through her lawyer and did not appear for the arraignment. She faces 12 counts of contempt. Each count carries a maximum penalty of $1,000.
The two actors have been dueling over their 10-year-old daughter and have been in the news often as Alec continues to argue in the courts and in the press that his ex is trying to keep the girl away from him.
