Keith Urban is getting treatment for alcohol abuse, less than four months after marrying actress Nicole Kidman.
The Grammy-winning country singer released a statement revealing he checked himself into rehab on Thursday night, with Nicole by his side.
"I deeply regret the hurt this has caused Nicole and the ones that love and support me," Keith said in the statement.
The star has previously battled a cocaine addiction.
"One can never let one's guard down on recovery, and I'm afraid that I have," the statement reads.
Appearances to promote Keith’s upcoming album, ‘Love, Pain, & the whole crazy thing’, will be postponed, his publicist says.
