The latest rumour about Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s upcoming wedding is that Katie’s parents are angry that the nuptials will be conducted by the Church of Scientology, and not in the Catholic tradition.
Katie’s mom and dad are said to be so outraged that they are threatening a last-minute boycott of the wedding to try to convince their daughter to have a Catholic ceremony as well as the planned Scientology-style one.
In other TomKat news, the couple are planning to wed at George Clooney’s Italian villa next month.
Tom and Katie are said to have decided to use the luxury villa on Lake Como after enjoying a recent holiday there.
"The wedding is scheduled for mid November. Kate had looked at various hotels but the venue is set to be George Clooney's villa," a source said.
