Rapper Jadakiss has been arrested for weapon possession in New York after a traffic stop, his second gun-related arrest since 2004.
Jadakiss and four other people were charged with criminal possession of a weapon after a loaded handgun was found inside the vehicle they were riding in, Detective Sgt. Joseph Pietropaolo said.
Jadakiss, whose real name is Jason Phillips, was previously arrested in July 2004 on marijuana and gun possession charges after police found less than an ounce of the drug and two loaded .45-caliber pistols in his vehicle.
The hip hop star reached a plea agreement the next year and paid a $900 fine.
