Christina Aguilera is fighting it out with Catherine Zeta-Jones and Scarlett Johansson for the lead role in a new movie biopic about the life of fifties screen siren Jeanne Carmen.
If Xtina beats the established actresses to the role, it will be her movie debut.
Jeanne Carmen, who is now 76, was dubbed the “queen of the B-movies” in the 1950s. The blonde actress, whose look was similar to her friend Marilyn Monroe’s, starred in films including 'Untamed Youth' and 'The Three Outlaws'.
The actress’ personal life was just as headline-worthy, she was friends with the likes of Elvis Presley, John F. Kennedy and Frank Sinatra.
