Rappers Chris Brown and Bow Wow have collaborated on another song, "Shortie Like Mine." "It's about trying to keep your girl," he said of the pair's record, which is the first single from Bow's upcoming album The Price of Fame, due to drop on December 19. "Trying to tell her she's number one — a hip-hop love song. I got a good little second verse on there as well as the hook."
"Shortie Like Mine" is set to be a Bow Wow release, with Brown apearing as guest artist. "It was cool," said Brown of working with Bow."We worked together in the past. Both of us are real young. We both understand the game. I've only been in the game a year, he's a vet, so I take some things from him. He's a cool dude."
Talking about his own music, Brown said he's already started on a new album even though he isn't finished with his self-titled debut yet. He's working on a remix to "Poppin' " and wants his tourmates, Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana, to rap on it.
The busy rapper is already planning next year's tour: "I gotta come back on tour. I love performing. After I do this album and [acting on] 'The O.C.,' I gotta come back next summer," Brown said.
"I know my man Justin Timberlake has a tour coming up, so hopefully I can get on that. It could be 'Chris and Justin' or 'Justin and Chris,' however y'all wanna see it. It'll be crazy. We'll have fun with it. Justin, holler at me."
