Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt have donated $100,000 (£54,000) to the foundation set up in the name of murdered journalist Daniel Pearl, on what would have been his 43rd birthday.
The Hollywood couple is currently in India making a movie based on Pearl’s life, called ‘A Mighty Heart’.
Angelina plays Mariane, Pearl’s wife, who wrote the book on which the film is based.
Daniel Pearl was abducted and killed while working on an assignment in Pakistan in 2002.
His birthday on Tuesday was marked by musical events around the world.
Recently revealed said that she was "disappointed" that the film could not be made in Pakistan due to safety issues.
