Ashlee Simpson has become the new face of Skechers, following in the ‘S’ branded footsteps of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
The 21-year-old, who says she grew up wearing Skechers, is helping to launch a new line of footwear for the shoe giant.
"Skechers is brand that is not afraid to going the beyond. I look forward to representing Skechers clothing line. I also hope to add a few more pairs to my wardrobe,” she says.
She added that she loves wearing Skechers after she comes off stage every night after performing in the musical Chicago in London.
"My feet really take a pounding every time I perform in the show so it's a relief to get into my comfortable sneakers at the end of the night," she added.
Skechers' president Michael Greenberg said: "Ashlee is a very talented young singer and she's one of the most powerful influences of the young population today.
