Anna Nicole Smith turned her son’s funeral into a "media circus", the model’s estranged sister says.
Donna Hogan says she was angered after Anna Nicole ignored requests from family members who wants to be involved with this week’s memorial service for 20-year-old Daniel.
"I said my goodbyes to Daniel in a telephone statement I made to ‘Entertainment Tonight’ the day I found out about his death," Hogan says. "This funeral service was nothing more than another circus media event for my sister."
She has also blasted Anna for planning a commitment ceremony with her lover Howard K Stern before she laid her son to rest.
"It's very sad that a mother would rather concentrate on staging a fake marriage to make money and get even more bad attention on her, than to lay to rest her loving son, where his soul could rest in peace," she says.
