Anna Nicole Smith had been admitted to hospital suffering from pneumonia, the former reality star’s attorney has revealed.
She’s been taken to the same medical centre where her 20-year-old son died last month.
Nicole, whose son died while visiting her in the hospital three days after she gave birth to daughter Dannielynn, was being treated at Doctors Hospital in Nassau, attorney Wayne Munroe said.
"She has a slight case of pneumonia," he said. "We've had a sudden change of weather here due to a cold snap."
He added that Nicole was most likely being kept in hospital as a precaution, as she’s recently given birth.
"I didn't gather it was anything serious," he said.
Nicole’s son, Daniel, died in her room at Doctors Hospital. The cause was a lethal combination of methadone and antidepressants, a private examiner said.
