Naomi Campbell Too Drunk To Be Quizzed Over Assault

Naomi Campbell photo Feisty Naomi Campbell was too drunk to be questioned by police for 12 after her arrest over allegedly assaulting her therapist. But was later released without being questioned.

Police suspected the supermodel was drunk and were forced to leave her in a cell to sleep until she sobered up. A doctor was called in because police were so worried about Naomi’s condition.

"She was very animated and abusive. The officers felt, based on experience, that she had been drinking,” a senior police source said.

Ownership Of Hendrix Song Rights Is Hazy

jimi hendrix photo Jimi Hendrix’s family is threatening to take legal action after some of the late rock star’s most famous songs for £7.9m ($15m ).

The family’s company say it has proof that it owns the rights to songs like 'Purple Haze' and 'Voodoo Child'.

The tracks were auctioned earlier this week as part of the estate of Hendrix’s manager, Michael Jeffery, who died in 1973.

Mariah's Manager Blasts Diva Cancellation Rumours

mariah carey photo Mariah Carey’s manager has blasted tour promoters for saying the diva’s recent Hong Kong concert was scrapped because of the singer’s outrageous diva demands and poor ticket sales.

Benny Medina, a former manager of Jennifer Lopez, had said the claims posted by Concert Asia on their website are false and that Mariah pulled out of the date after the tour promoter failed to pay her money she was owed.

He also added that Mariah does not act like a diva or make wild demands.

Man Who Shot D12's Proof Escapes Jail

proof_180.jpg The nightclub bouncer who shot and killed D12 member Proof, after the rapper shot his cousin, has escaped jail.

Mario Etheridge, who apologised to Proof’s family in court, was sentenced to time served (after spending a few days in jail awaiting bail) and a $2,000 fine on weapons charges on Thursday by a Wayne County Circuit judge. He was not charged with murder because he acted in his cousin‘s defence.
