Cameron Diaz has accused a photographer of assault with a deadly weapon, after he allegedly drove his car at her and Justin Timberlake – police have revealed.
The actress and her boyfriend Justin were leaving a friend’s house in Hollywood earlier this week when the incident happened, Officer April Harding says.
When the loved-up celebs spotted the snapper trying to photograph them, they pursued him.
"The photographer got into his car and drove toward Diaz and Timberlake," Ms Harding says. The photographer has not yet been arrested.
Ms Harding said the incident caused "Diaz to jump out of the car's way". The ‘Something About Mary’ star has since filed a police report in Los Angeles.
"The investigation is in its initial stages," said Officer Harding. No suspects have yet been identified.
