Rock junkie Pete Doherty has come up with a unique way of showing how he feels about his fiancée Kate Moss, he wants to write his wedding vows in his own blood.
The Babyshambles singer, who is known for his blood paintings, is said to have even turned up at a town hall with a vial of blood, but he was - unsurprisingly - sent away.
"Like any couple, they need to fill in forms to announce their intention to wed - he just came up with a twist," a friend of the star revealed.
"He told Kate that the first official document about their union should be scrawled in his own blood so everyone knows how he feels about her."
A source adds: "It was explained to him that there are health and safety issues and council rules.
"Pete was told that there was a selection of pens he could choose from, but he decided not to bother. He clearly lives in a different world."
