Avril Lavigne says she’s going to take things a little easier now she’s married to Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley.
After a gruelling two solid years on the road promoting her last album, the rock chick says she will tone things down when she tours next year as she wants more balance in her life.
"That was too exhausting,” she says of her last tour. “ It's so abnormal to be in a different city every day and not have a sense of home or comfort of the same bed to go to every night.
"And when you're away too long it's really hard to adjust when you get back.
"It's like, 'OK, now what do I do when I wake up?' or 'Oh, I can't just pick up the phone and order room service, I have to go downstairs and f**king make it?!'
"Even now that I've been off tour for months, I have piles of laundry..."
She joked: "Maybe I need my mom to do it!"
