Justin Timberlake will both host and perform this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards, which take place in Copenhagen in November.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers are nominated for four awards, including best album, at the event. With sexy songstresses Christina Aguilera, Shakira and Nelly Furtado up for three awards each, as are Kanye West and Muse.
Robbie Williams, the Artic Monkeys and Keane are also among the acts to make the nominations list.
"It's going to be an amazing night," Justin says. "I'm working on several ideas with MTV at the moment and there are some great new interactive parts to the show."
As well as Justin, Nelly Furtado and Muse are among the artists scheduled to perform at the ceremony on November 2 at the Bella Center Conventional Hall in Copenhagen before an audience of 3,000 people.
