Janet Jackson let herself go the past two years after the Super Bowl boob-popping moment and ballooned up to an enormous size. She told Oprah that her 68-pound weight was for a role in the upcoming film "Tennessee".
But she needs to run that little white lie past the film's producers who are saying that no one ever asked Janet to gain weight, that it wasn’t called for in the script, and they've given the part to Mariah Carey anyway.
Janet piled on more BS when she said that she lost all that weight in about 4 months with diet and exercise. ("Once in a blue moon I get a treat of a couple of nuts," she said last spring.)
Time out for the hate because she has always had a yo-yo weight problem but coming from someone who always said she hated to exercise, you wonder why Janet felt a need to fib about a fat movie role excuse. So she gained weight at age 40. Who cares?
Not that Janet Jackson needs a film career - her current single “Call Me” was number one on the R&B songs charts last week. Her album, 20 Y.O. drops this week.
