Welsh pop singer Charlotte Church has invited, then uninvited, Paris Hilton to appear on her new talk show after the already much-too-rich heirhead requested $650,000 (£350,000) to show up and chat for half an hour. The singer with the classically-trained pips was shocked by the money demand, then added that Paris's singing sucks too.
"We asked Paris Hilton to be on the program, because I could take the mick out (make fun) of her and not feel at all bad about it. She's such a complete airhead,” the Mirror quoted Charlotte, as saying.
"But she demanded a ridiculous amount of money - like the price of a big house. She actually wanted £350,000 just to say a couple of stupid things.”
"She's hardly going to announce anything world-changing is she? It's absolutely pathetic."
Charlotte also mocked the socialite's move into pop music, insisting her new single smacks of "NASA technology", saying: "Paris is bloody awful. Honestly I heard a bit of it on the radio and it's terrible."
"Everyone to their own, but it's not like she needs the money."
