Rocker Pete Doherty was forced to cancel last night's gig in Ibiza because he couldn't get there, after bungling his passport application because of a silly pose in the photo. He's also rumored to be about to marry Kate Moss on the island. A source close to the star said: "Pete put in his application for a new passport with a photo of him with his head at a lopsided angle. The passport authorities rejected it, which meant he had to cancel the Ibiza gig at the last minute."
"It's typical Pete. He was just having a laugh and thought he could get away with it, but of course it has landed him in trouble once again."
The authorities have very strict guidelines these days about how to pose in passport photos and they don't make exceptions for rock stars.
His band Babyshambles were due to play last night at Ibiza Rocks in Bar M, Manumission's beachside bar in San Antonio. A spokesman for Bar M said: "Unfortunately Babyshambles had to cancel the gig but we're rescheduling for the first week in September."
The management refunded everyone who had bought tickets and let everyone in free to see Peaches Geldof, 17.
