Lost star Naveen Andrews was recently photographed swapping spit with a mystery blonde on a California beach. Yet just hours later, he told People magazine in an interview that his eight-year romance with older actress Barbara Hershey was going well. "(My private life) seems to be dysfunctional, (but) what's actually going on...is good and pure," he said.
In January Andrews admitted to fathering a love child with another woman during a brief 2005 split from Hershey, who is 21 years his senior. He also has a son by his high school math teacher.
When contacted for a comment on the steamy beach photos, Andrews' mouthpiece issued a standard denial: "I have no comment. Naveen and Barbara are still together."
