While making the rounds pimping his album, Jesse McCartney has revealed that he's also a gossip. Don't you love it? While chatting about his girlfriend Katie Cassidy, who will play Lucy Ewing in the upcoming "Dallas" movie, Jesse told an Atlanta radio show that Jennifer Lopez had to drop out of the film because she's pregnant.
It started when one of the DJs was fishing for info and asked Jesse, "So! I bet your girlfriend can give us the scoop on why Jennifer Lopez was fired from the movie?"
Without thinking, Jesse responded, "She didn't get fired. She's pregnant."
He then looked nervous and realized the DJ had him right where he wanted him--dishing the dirt. According to reports, after the interview, Jesse asked his publicist, "Was I not supposed to say anything?"
Oops!
Jesse has since retracted his comment in a statement: "I have no first hand information whether or not Jennifer Lopez is pregnant. I thought I had read it somewhere."
J.Lo's people are also vehemently denying the new rumor saying that she is "100%" not pregnant.
Meanwhile, Jesse's new album, "Right Where You Want Me," will drop on September 19.
