"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" favorite Eric Szmanda got an unexpected ass-whooping by what was described as a "large" female in a bar on the Hawaiian island of Kauai.
The actor was vacationing there with friends and checking out a local tiki tavern, when he stopped to pose for pictures with fans and locals. As he was leaving, he was suddenly confronted by "a big Samoan woman."
"I thought she wanted to shake my hand but she clocked me in the face," Eric said.
The actor, who plays a forensics sleuth on CSI, said he had no clue what the fight was about, but offered, "Maybe she didn't like my Hollywood kind in her bar."
Hawaii detectives are investigating the bar brawl.
