You can't blame Pop tart Britney Spears for being tired. She's been pregnant for 18 out of the last 21 months, plus putting up with Der Federline's party ways and chasing after a young son, and she says she's counting down the days until she gives birth next month, because back-to-back pregnancies have done an ass-whooping on her body. She tells People magazine, "I feel like I've been pregnant for 10 years!"
The exhausted 24-year-old insists it's time to give her body a break - from baby-making that is. Brit, who has gained 40 pounds during her pregnancy, is looking forward to a grueling pace of sweating off the extra weight and getting back into stage shape.
"Crunching ice and chocolate, oh my God," she says of her weight gain and cravings. "I’ll get up in the middle of the night and I’ll get a Hershey’s bar, the real big ones, and I’ll put it in the microwave and melt it and eat it. It sounds disgusting, but it’s so satisfying."
The singer, who was once renowned for doing 3,000 crunchies a week - as in sit-ups, not cheetos - says she is determined to do whatever it takes to lose the baby weight. "I'm so excited to sweat like I used to - now I can't because you're always kind of scared, just kind of protective."
"I'm so excited about getting my body back and getting a routine scheduled. I'm definitely going to start working out in a huge way."
