American supermodel and actress Amber Valletta has blasted claims that her recent stint in an Arizona clinic had anything to do with an addiction.
Amber, who starred in the movies ‘Hitch’ and ‘What Lies Beneath’, insists that she checked into The Meadow rehabilitation facility in Wickenburg, Arizona for stress treatment.
"As was correctly reported earlier this week, my stay at The Meadow had nothing to do with substance abuse or addiction,” she revealed through her publicist.
"I am pleased to say I have seven years' sobriety. But I continue every day to heal and grow as a person."
Amber, who started modelling when she was just 15, is married to pro volleyball player Christian 'Chip' McCaw and they have a five-year-old son together.
