English supermodel Naomi Campbell reportedly fled a London shop in tears after a clerk refused to believe she was who she said she was. Naomi was shopping for luggage in the Peter Jones store and when a clerk looked at her credit card and said: "I don't think you're Naomi Campbell." Whoa! Then, after the phone-throwing model kept her legendary temper in check, the clerk became convinced she couldn't be the catwalk queen.
Naomi, who is 5'10" and Jamaican-Chinese, is famous for her fiery temper and for battering her maids with cell phones. A former assistant once said of her: “She is so crazy you never know when she will hit out. Anything can send her into a frenzy." But in the store, Naomi was chill and at first thought the woman was joking but once she realized she was serious, the supermodel insisted she was the real Naomi Campbell and sparks flew.
Incredibly, even after the trademark volcanic eruption, the shop clerk STILL didn't believe it was the real model and refused to accept the card.
A mouthpiece for the model later said: "There were a lot of people in the store and the situation was humiliating. Naomi was shaking with anger."
Store management reportedly tried to intervene but Naomi stormed out and refused to ever visit the shop again.
