Usher is set to make his debut Broadway appearance by starring in the musical Chicago.
The R&B superstar will take on the role of lawyer Billy Flynn, following in the footsteps of Richard Gere and David Hasslehoff.
"I have always admired Broadway actors for their showmanship, dedication and focus that goes into performing live on stage every night," the 27-year-old says.
The all-singing-and-dancing role shouldn’t prove a challenge for Usher Raymond, whose last album ‘Confessions’ sold over 8 million copies - he’s been performing from a young age and has previously acted in the movies ‘The Faculty’ and ‘She’s All That‘.
