‘Lost’ will get a new star this season, heartthrob Rodrigo Santoro who has been dubbed the ‘Brazilian Tom Cruise'.
It’s not know whether the ‘Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle’ actor will be a regular star or will just be a recurring character.
The show’s producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof are keeping tight-lipped on Rodrigo’s role in the show.
"We don't really want to be at all specific about what we're doing with the character or what he's going to play," Cuse says.
"Part of the surprise and the enjoyment of watching the show is sort of getting a chance to meet a new character and see how his role is going to unfold in relation to the rest of the cast."
The producers have, however, have revealed that in the third season, “something happens midway through the year that will fry everybody's brain."
The show's season three premiere, ‘A Tale of Two Cities,’ airs on October 4.
