Pink has sent a message of support to troubled pop tart Britney Spears by dedicating a song to her during a Los Angeles gig.
During a sold-out set at hotspot Avalon, the wild pop chick dedicated her hit ‘Don’t Let Me Get Me’ to Spears.
The song, which features a line about the pop princess [“I‘m tired of being compared to damn Britney Spears. She‘s so pretty that just ain‘t me”], told the audience she’d always loved Britney and asked everyone to send her some "good energy and love because she could use it right now".
The surprising request was met by both cheering and laughter from the crowd - which include Tommy Lee and Lisa Marie Presley- .
Poor Britney has been blasted by the press for everything lately, with her mothering skills coming under scrutiny and being laughed at for her teary-eyed, bad-make-up appearance on ‘Dateline’ earlier this month.
