This is hardly even news anymore, but Naomi Campbell is alledged to have beaten up yet another maid! In a new accusation just out on Thursday, a former assistant is accusing the tempestuous supermodel of spitting in her face, ripping up her passport, and hitting her in the face with -- what for it -- yes, that same Blackberry that Naomi used to pummel her other assistants with.
The New York Daily News is reporting that Amanda Brack, 20, worked for Naomi for six months until February 2005 when things got out of hand. In her lawfuit filed yesterday, her lawyer said, "There were tons of verbal barrages, over-the-top screaming and cursing. There were many, many incidents."
Brack is demanding unspecified damages from the model who slammed a Blackberry into her face and slapped her three times during a trip to Rio de Janeiro, then two months later, she threw a friend's cell phone at Brack after a fight in her plush Park Ave. apartment, the lawyer charged.
In May 2005, the supermodel and her entourage were staying in Marrakesh, Morocco, when Campbell allegedly flew off the handle over her luggage. She allegedly spat in Brack's face and later told the assistant that she had ripped up her passport. The travel document turned up in the hotel pool.
The last straw came last July when Campbell confronted Brack and ripped off her sweater after claiming the assistant must have been stealing money to afford such fancy duds.
"Every time she actually got physical, it would be followed up by apologies and promises," the lawyersaid.
