Supermodel Kate Moss’ ‘Cocaine Kate’ scandal really paid off, literally.
Since shocking pictures were published of her snorting the drug last year, Kate’s earnings have soared.
Initially she was scared her career was over, after immediately being dropped by big name fashion houses including H&M and Roberto Cavalli.
However, the hype surrounding the scandal has since lead the 32-year-old to ink new deals with Burberry, Calvin, Klein and Virgin Mobile, which will earn her around £10 million by the end of the year.
This is over five times what Kate earned in 2005 from her company, Skate Enterprises.
The publicity generated from Kate’s on-off relationship with rock star Pete Doherty has helped keep her in the headlines, and in turn win contracts, this year too.
The latest instalment in the Kate-Pete saga is the bad boy has revealed he still loves the catwalk queen in a new interview.
Even though she ditched him saying she’d "had enough" of his addiction to heroin, he says: "Our relationship is right and wrong, up and down. She's had enough, I think. But I love her bones, I always will."
