“Fashion icon” Paris Hilton has been praised by Heather Mills-McCartney for ditching fur from her wardrobe.
Animal rights protestor Heather recently showed Paris videos of the horrific methods used to obtain fur from animals and the socialite was so shocked she hasn’t worn fur since.
Heather now hopes Paris’ fans and friends will follow her example and stop wearing fur.
"Paris's decision is wonderful,” she says.
"As a trend setter and a fashion icon, I know she is already using her influence to persuade some of her fur wearing celebrity friends to stop wearing fur."
After the heiress’ feuds with celebs like Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan, it makes a change to hear someone say something nice about her.
