A man who spied on Michael Jackson, by bugging a jet used by the troubled superstar, has been slapped with an eight months jail sentence.
Arvel Jett Reeves, who planned to sell recordings on to the media, has admitted installing two digital video recorders before Jacko flew to California in 2003 to be arrested on child molestation charges.
Reeves was convicted of conspiracy and must receive six months’ treatment to help deal with his drug and alcohol problems.
A second man, Jeffrey Borer, has admitted the charge but his sentencing has been delayed for two months.
Judge A Howard Matz has allowed him more time to supply a report on his wife’s health.
It’s been claimed that Borer planned "to sell these recordings to the media for a large sum of money".
